I haven't participated in Pink Saturday for a LONG while! My last contribution was way back when my blog had a different name and theme! I really missed it!

I jus have a couple of things to share...

My sister found some PINK vintage ornaments for me at Goodwill yesterday. I've been looking everywhere for some, but pink ones tend to be a little spendy. These were 99 cents!

I was visiting blogs this AM and happened upon these....

I want some SOOO bad! Unfortunately the web site where they come from is all out of this design. I'm going to continue to look other places.

I have been wanting one of these vintage pink Coleman water jugs for AGES, but the prices were outrageous! They say that patience is a virtue, and last week I finally won one on Ebay for a great price! It will be great with my vintage picnic basket for our summer picnics in the park.



I found this pretty floral dresser box at a thrift store for 1.00! It looks nice with the start of my collection of mugs with pink roses! The one on the left is Old Country Roses by Royal Albert China, the center one is unmarked, and the one on the right is by Laura Ashley. Very pretty.


Now, onto the giveaway! Since it's Pink Saturday, I'm giving away some pink themed things! Two pretty pink rose pot holders, a sweet little cup and saucer with pink and red roses (look at the cute little butterfly wing handles!), A Yankee Candle votive in Fresh Cut Roses (heavenly!), a bar of rose-scented soap (scrumptious!), and a sweet set of pink Swarovski crystal earrings. Yum yum yum!!!

Pink Saturday

Well, I've missed the last bazillion PS's seems like :-) Summer has almost come and gone, and it's been a busy one! Hopefully as the world winds down into Fall, so will I, and have more time to devote to me blog. I have about 400 vacation pics to load, and hopefully share some some with y'all.

Pink Saturday!

Well, I have missed the last two PS's. including the 1year anniversary! Where have I been? Slacking, of course. Not really... we had some glorious weather so we spent most of our time in the yard. This past week has been rainy and cold. Yuck.

On to Pink Saturday. I don't have much to share this week. Just a few oddments.


I found the most luscious pink spray paint! Pink has now officially migrated to the yard, much to MDH's chagrin. I painted these pot hangers to hang my white baskets full of pink portulaca.





I've been bugging MDH to let me get a tiny chihuahua. Yeah, just call me Paris. We have two dogs already, but a girl can dream. In the meantime I found 'her' a sweet basket and baby blankies to wrap her up in when I get her. Wishful thinking!




Found these sweet vintage playing cards on Ebay. Pink roses!




And here is my little pot of sweet impatiens. The perfect shade of pink :-)

How sweet is this little sewing kit? Look at the tiny little pink scissors! I love it! It stays in my travel bag..like we do much traveling LOL! But. if we do, I'm prepared!
