A Christmas Meme...

BJ at Sweet Nothings invited everyone who reads her blog to participate in this meme. I invite YOU ALL to do the same!!

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Wrapping paper.
2. Real tree or artificial? Artificial.
3. When do you put up the tree? Day after Thanksgiving. Usually. Haven't done it yet :-(
4. When do you take the tree down? New Year's Day
5. Do you like eggnog? It's okay. Just a couple of sips are enough for me.
6. Favorite gift received as a child? My 'big girl' bike.
7. Hardest person to buy for? Son-in-law.
8. Easiest person to buy for? Granddaughters.
9. Do you have a nativity scene? No.
10. Mail or email Christmas cards? MAIL!
11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? A boyfriend broke up with me right before Christmas once.
12. Favorite Christmas Movie? A Christmas Story.
13. Better to give or receive? Give!
14. Favorite Christmas Food? Ham, if it's a good honey ham and not too salty!
15. Favorite Christmas tradition? Going to my sister's on Christmas Eve.
16. Colored lights on the tree or all clear? Clear. They look like twinkling stars.
17. Favorite Christmas song? Silver Bells.
18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? Home. We had planned to visit my mom in Arizona this year, but finances won't allow it. They cut Christmas bonuses at work due to the economy. Bummer :-(
19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer's? Absolutely!!! Dasher and Dancer, Prancer and Vixen. Comet and Cupid, Donner and Blitzen!! And I didn't even have to look it up!!!
20. Angel on the tree top or a star? STAR.
21. Open presents on Christmas Eve or morning? Morning.
22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year? Rude, pushy people. That's why I try to shop on-line, but you knows there's always a quick trip to ~shudder~ Wal-mart for something last minute.
23. Favorite Ornament theme or color? Lot's of gold! Gold beaded garland on the tree and all colors of ornaments with touches of gold!
24. Favorite for Christmas dinner? Didn't we already do this one??
25. What do you want for Christmas this year? I would love to see my grandbabies open their presents, but, alas, that won't happen :-(

  1. I love how you did it in red and green. I might have to steal that idea. :) I'm sorry to hear about the bonuses being cut. That seems to be going on everywhere. Will your sister make a ham?

  2. You got to LIVE in Lincoln City!!!!! You lucky duck.
    I was raised in Salem and Dad would drive us over to the coast several times a year to spend a Sunday afternoon.
    I always thought that the people who lived there were the luckiest people in the world.
