Pink Pink Pink Saturday!!

Beverly at How Sweet the Sound hosts this amazing event every Saturday! If you want to know what it's about, visit her blog and there you'll find a list of participants. This week there are 144!!! Every week we add several Pinkies to the list!! Visit their blogs and enjoy the PINKNESS!

My contribution for this week is the lovely vintage, throw-size quilt I found on Ebay for a song. It will be for the foot of the guest bed. For now it's packed away until we finish the facelift on the room. We're going to attempt to paint over some existing (yucky) paneling, so it may be awhile. I will be sure to have before and after photos just like when we re-did the laundry room. Isn't this the sweetest quilt? I love the pink ruffled binding and the tiny little roses!!!

I've found myself addicted to purchasing 100% cotton sheets at thrift stores, in hopes of using them for quilt backings. I found this lovely rose print at Goodwill last week. Soft as a babies bottom! Don't you love the pink rosebuds??

Have a wonderful Pink Saturday y'all, and don't forget to visit the other Pinkies!

  2. That really is a sweet quilt. And what a great idea about looking for 100% cotton sheets! I'll have to keep that in mind when I'm out and about. I don't quilt, but always look for vintage fabrics for my sewer/quilter friends.
