Well, I have missed the last two PS's. including the 1year anniversary! Where have I been? Slacking, of course. Not really... we had some glorious weather so we spent most of our time in the yard. This past week has been rainy and cold. Yuck.
On to Pink Saturday. I don't have much to share this week. Just a few oddments.
I found the most luscious pink spray paint! Pink has now officially migrated to the yard, much to MDH's chagrin. I painted these pot hangers to hang my white baskets full of pink portulaca.
I've been bugging MDH to let me get a tiny chihuahua. Yeah, just call me Paris. We have two dogs already, but a girl can dream. In the meantime I found 'her' a sweet basket and baby blankies to wrap her up in when I get her. Wishful thinking!
Found these sweet vintage playing cards on Ebay. Pink roses!
And here is my little pot of sweet impatiens. The perfect shade of pink :-)
Please visit sweet Beverly, our Pink Hostess for this weeks list of Pinkies! Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteI love portulaca and have some I need to get potted. I like the pink hangers. I bet Pink Saturday has boosted sales of pink paint, pink fabric, pink everything. the probably don't realize they should thank us. I am going to be away from the posting of pink the next month or so. Very busy. Have a wonderful weekend. I hope you get your little chihuahua soon.

Sometimes you have to have a little "me time", and I bet you feel all the better for it. Love that shade of pink you did the plant hangers - do you feel the urge to paint the trellis to match, by any chance? (lol lol lol). I have a feeling that little chihuahua will arrive soon - how can she not, when you have everything ready....
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday!
You have come up with a treasure trove of pinkness today! No slacking there.
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday! Best of luck getting your Chihuahua. My son has one ("da pups" pics are on my blog) and I get to puppy-sit when he's at work and on weekends when he's busy. They are precious little dogs and such characters.

Thanks for visiting on PS...I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you get a precious pup for that little basket. We are Lab people...have had three, but we are ready for a smaller dog as we "mature"...our Ladybird sheds so much that we sweep up a "hair puppy" the size of a Chihuahua every couple of days... BTW have you seen Beverly Hills Chihuahua? sooo cute...especially if you are a "dog person". Happy PS and have a pink week. LaVerne in Texas
