Pink Saturday.....

I love LOLCATS! What a cool Princess chair!

Here's a not-so-cool chair. This is so NOT the color I was going for. Ack! So now I have to figure out what to do with it besides re-painting the entire thing. Any suggestions?

  6. Luv the pillows, the chair...I would try sponge painting on top of the color...could be a surprrising perfect match. :)ellen

  7. Maybe you could do a whitewash over it to calm it down a little? That cat pic is too funny!

  8. I would suggest to use a white glaze over the pink paint to tone it down. Check out my blog to see what I'm doing to my kitchen cupboards...a white crackle finish over pink background. That would work too!
    Love those pillows.

  9. Thanks for visiting my blog! Your profile photo is adorable! I think going a deeper tone (like the deep color in the floral pillow) would look nice. A semi-gloss finish would be lovely! I also think the whitewashing suggestions sound good, too. So many options!
