Well, I decided to muster up the energy to go to the Antique Market at a farm out in the country. I knew I'd kick myself if I didn't go because I had been looking forward to it for a month!
Basil decided that he didn't want to be left behind. Silly cat!!
After driving for what seemed an eternity, I saw some cars on the side of the road. Must be getting close!
Closer....
closer still...
There it is!
Oh,my!
What fun!
Actually, I was pretty overwhelmed. So much to see. Isn't this a cute sign?
I made one purchase. A sweet nightstand for the guestroom remodel.
Then we went garage-saling, and I found some cutie pie things...
Here's a close-up of the darling bunny made out of a gardening glove!!
and a sweet quilted doorknob bunny..
I don't have a hot water bottle, but I'll need to get one now! Here's a sweet lambiepie cover for one! Couldn't resist!
Got an almost new pretty throw blanket with rosebuds, and a precious hand-made stickhorse!!!
MDH picked up this 78 rpm record set for a buck!! Go Bing!!
While out and about, we saw this sweet house. I want to live there!!
All in all it was a great day. The sun was shining, it was almost warm, and it got me out of the house! I feel much better today! Hope you all had a great Saturday. Today we're staying HOME!!

What a great sale!! Love your blog, Happy Junkin', Janna
ReplyDeleteLlyn, I sure hope you are feeling better. What a wonderful antique sale. And... your garage sale finds are great. I love the sheep water bottle cover. So perfect. I wish I had one! I also love the Bing Crosby record. Bing is from our town (Spokane)My 95 year-old Grandma dated his brother when she was a teenager and I live in a house on a lake that he used to vacation to in the early 60's with Bob Hope and Red Skelton. Oh, and I used to have pet ducks named Bob and Bing. Can you tell I like him? Good find!
