Pink Saturday

Well, I've missed the last bazillion PS's seems like :-) Summer has almost come and gone, and it's been a busy one! Hopefully as the world winds down into Fall, so will I, and have more time to devote to me blog. I have about 400 vacation pics to load, and hopefully share some some with y'all.

On to Pink Saturday. Beverly challenged us this week to visit a new blog and post a link. I actually found a couple of new cool blogs that I have started to follow.

    Oh, my gosh that is just wonderful. It's always so darned nice to travel from blog to blog, like a beautiful magazine, and the color of my passion at every turn.

    Thanks so much for sharing today. Now that the flowers are fading, Pink Saturday will need to provide step up to the plate and provide for us the blossoms of our mind's eye.

    My Girlfriends and I would have smoked those in Vogue Ciggies, too...out behind the house or in the barn. Loved the SoftWeave Ad in the 50's bathroom....I seem to be all about bathrooms, huh?...Thanks for visiting CollectInTexas Gal today...the one with the bathroom story!....Sue

    You know....it's funny....I was just talking to someone the other day about colored toilet paper. Wonder why they don't make it anymore....I am sure they will sell millions of rolls of pink! HPS

    I love vintage ads, too. I remember those Cutex lipsticks .... I always bought a frosted pink one and looked terrible in it! It wasn't until years later that I realized I should be wearing a redder shade. Happy Pink Saturday!

    Hi Llyn! I have missed the last couple weeks too!.. But I'm glad to be back! Love your pink retro ads!.. Pink cigarettes! I smoked for well over 20 years (haven't smoked in over a year!), and I have NEVER seen pink cigarettes!!.. And I want a pair of those long pink gloves, and the girl advertising lipstick has!!     I just love old ads, and some of these are so sweet. I don't know about the PInk cigarettes though, so many more women smoked back then. I recently saw an ad with Lucille Ball holding a cigarette. Happy Pink Saturday.
