{ A few decos... }

I have been very impressed by all you bloggers out there who have finished decorating for the holidays! And, OH, what decorations you have! I'm in awe :-) I can't seem to get in the swing of things yet. I work retail...(yeah, I know...what a time of year to have THAT job! LOL!)...and I'm pooped out most days. I have managed to get a few things done, and I'm not sure how much more I really want to do. I think I'd rather pour what little energy I have left into some BAKING! But here a re a few pics of what's been done....

Made this centerpiece from an old wooden bullet  box....

Found this cute little ceramic sleigh at Goodwill and just added some pretty picks...

These are my favorite wooden candles..I've had them for years!
I may re-paint them eventually and add some glitter!

Here is our humble little tree....

Complete with cat!!!

  1. I know exactly what you mean about being pooped-everyone who hasn't worked retail-has no idea! Blogging has helped me to want to decorate a little-usually I don't do anything!

  2. Thanks for taking the time to comment Lori Lynn! I sure like your box centerpiece. There are signs of the season around my place, but I usually don't do much more than the mantel and a tree. You've got a great start! Jacqueline

  3. Beautiful Lori Lynn.... especially the kitty under the tree. I took pix of my pup in the same spot a couple of days ago.....didn't get there in time to get the picture of her sitting and looking up at the tree. Too funny.

  4. I love your humble little tree as you call it. Everything looks so warm and cozy. I don't work retail so I wonder what my excuse is? lol I'm keeping it simple this year. Less stress.

  5. Hi Lori Lynn, You look like you have been busy!! Love your bullet box centerpiece! I had a dog whos favorite spot was under the Christamas tree, I hadn't thought about that it years... Thanks for the smile:-))
Thanks for dropping by with your sweet comment too :-)
The frost spray is Crystal Frost by Design Master, I bought it at Ben Franklin 3 or so years ago (it lasts for ever!) It is fun stuff!!
    Have a great day!

  6. A Christmas tree is even prettier with a cat underneath it! :-)

  7. Thanks for your visit!
Isn't it funny how cats love to lay UNDER the tree??

  8. Your decorations look great - I really like the sleigh!

My husband is in retail and it's very hard to do anything this time of year. Especially since it's mandatory that he work on Saturdays.

  9. Hi Lynn! Oh, I loved seeing your Christmasing! Everything is so pretty.
Thank you for popping in to see me.
    Be a sweetie,
    Shelia ;)

  10. Lori Lynn - I'm a little behind on reading blogs so I just stopped over today and I love your Holiday decor! So beautiful and inviting!

I'm so happy that you visited my little blog! Thank you for the lovely comment and have a superb day!!
