Wow! They had a ton of stuff! The little old lady lived there in this...
Cute, eh? And , no, all of the stuff for sale was NOT hers, it was her daughter's. No way it would have all fit in that wittle twailer.

Clydesdales!! They are very sweet, and came right up to the fence for nuzzles!! Wow! They are huge!! (I'm 5' tall).
then we went to the Senior Thrift Store. All told, we came home with this...
Once I have it all sorted, I will post my favorites.
...has a tutorial to make a darling wrist pincushion and it's also Giveaway! To enter for the Giveaway you need to leave a comment and link to the tutorial. Very easy! The pincusion looks easy to make and, boy, are they handy!!It was the remnants of an estate, stuff the 'kids' didn't think was worth anything. There were boxes and boxes of stuff that had sat out in the weather and were FILTHY!! After 20 minutes of digging, we came up with two HUGE piles of VINTAGE kitchen stuff!!
This is what I kept...
a cute turquoise silverware tray for my Exacto knives and stuff....
a red potato peeler for my collection...
this cute tiny pancake turner...
pretty plates to hang on the wall...
this little sauce pourer/butter melter?...
this adorable little chair for my studio…
and these for my sister's blue house.
As for the rest...check out my Etsy Shoppe and see all of the wonderful vintage goodies I found!!!!!!!!!
It's a dispenser for plastic bags made out of a vintage kitchen towel. If I had it to do over I wouldn't have used such wide elastic, but it's still pretty cute. We never get plastic grocery bags as we use our own, so I save bread bags to use for cleaning kitty litter box. It hangs on the rack with my aprons right near the litter box. Very handy!
Yesterday I took all of my aprons down and washed and hung them on the line (except for the one I was wearing). I just stood and stared at them 'cuz they looked so purty out there! Don't you agree??
